The National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) has awarded Alice Tommasi di Vignano, PhD from Harvard Medical School, the inaugural Post-Doctoral Fellowship for her work in studying the role of Calcineurin signaling in the development of non-scarring alopecia. This NAAF fellowship was given based on proposal evaluations by the NAAF Scientific Peer Review Committee with the approval of the NAAF Board of Directors. The NAAF Post Doctoral Fellowship Program has been designed to cultivate promising young physician scientists or research scientists conducting basic, translational or clinical research in the field of alopecia areata and related disorders. This award is being given to stimulate advancement toward independent research in the field of alopecia areata. |
